In every Amazon Wellness product, there is a little bit of our unique and beneficial rainforest. Our traditional recipes have been around for many generations. Amazon Wellness is the brand under which these products are marketed. Our products are harvested directly from the rainforest and have a beneficial effect. Sustainable, made by indigenous tribes, maroon and Indian villages in Suriname, minimally processed according to GAP and organic standards.
We pay a fair price, which directly benefits the standard of living in, mostly, remote villages, far away from industry and pollution. With the cooperation of our company Green Child N.V. and the NGO Amazon Conservation Team we contribute to the improvement of the quality of life.

The fact that the Indigenous and Tribal peoples of the Amazon can provide for their own needs by selling the products and thus maintain their self-esteem makes them and all of us happy.

It all started with a passion for nature and a desire to help the local communities. Green Child is a Corporate Social Responsibility enterprise, founded in Paramaribo in 2017. With a small, driven team, we develop and market non timber forest products (NTFP) into commercially viable products.
We respectfully source tasty nutritious food and supplements from small tribal communities. Amazon Conservation Team Suriname, a preeminent NGO, is our strategic partner, liaison to indigenous communities in South Suriname. These communities are educated and trained in order to wild harvest and produce. We comply with global standards on safety, hygiene and quality.
We buy these ‘Pure as Pure can be’ products at a fair price, therefore providing our producers a guaranteed income. Biodiversity, transparency and purpose are our main drivers. Our brand name is Amazon Wellness, and outside the region we sell in Europe and the Americas.
The Rainforest has an abundance of opportunities to better the world. We identify ingredients and commercialize them into products that matter, always respecting the integrity of the Rainforest. Suriname is acknowledged as the greenest country on earth and we bring the treasures of the rainforest to the world.

Amazon Conservation Team Suriname (ACT Suriname) is uniquely committed to protecting our natural environment. What makes this so special are the collaborations with the indigenous and maroon communities in the south of Suriname.
They work together to protect and conserve nature, culture and traditional health care in this area. They also work together with Green Child N.V. to put the products produced by these communities on the market (commercial part).
